CBTS channel partner Subsidium Technologies has won a Channel Partners Excellence in Digital Services Award. The Purveyor of Productivity Award went to Subsidium during the Virtual Channel Partners Conference & Expo, September 8-10.
The Purveyor of Productivity is awarded for excellence in helping customers wring maximum value out of their investments in people, systems, and technology.
“It’s amazing to witness the efficient power of this Channel that focuses on the customer’s business outcomes first, while at the same time quickly matching those requirements to the capabilities of the service provider, in this case CBTS,” said Rob Messmer, Sales Vice President and Channel Chief. “Thank you, Subsidium Technologies. You are world class!”
Introduced in 2019, the Excellence in Digital Service Awards recognize partners that deliver stellar business outcomes for their clients. Recognition is awarded in ten categories, with an additional award presented for special achievement among all applicants.
“The entire Channel Partners and Channel Futures team, as well as our guest judges, Khali Henderson of BuzzTheory and Jay McBain of Forrester, congratulate our 2020 Excellence in Digital Service award winners,” said Craig Galbraith, executive editor of Channel Partners and Channel Futures. “The winners of these 11 awards were the best of the best among nearly 120 entries from eight countries. We were pleased to honor them at our awards ceremony during Virtual Channel Partners Conference & Expo 2020.”
Subsidium Technologies was honored for saving IT operations $1M over three years at Whatabuger, allowing other critical projects to advance. The client desperately needed to update their legacy phone service at more than 700 locations in order to meet two critical requirements: moving all voice traffic to headquarters for safety needs and creating a cost savings for IT operations.
The client also faced two challenges: a tight time frame to deploy service to all 700+ locations in 50 business days, and installing and integrating new SIP over SD-WAN service to allow for store calls to connect to the headquarters on-premises call manager for on-net calling.
As a trusted advisor to the client, Subsidium Technologies recommended an integrated UCaaS, SIP, and SD-WAN solution from CBTS. Strong project management teams from CBTS, Subsidium, and the client collaborated to deploy all locations in an unprecedented 46 business days. CBTS automated provisioning technology was critical to the speed of deployment in which an average of 16 restaurants were installed per day. In addition, new SIP trunking enabled with VMware SD-WAN by VeloCloud was also successfully installed to meet the client’s requirements. Now at predetermined times, store voice traffic can be auto-routed to a headquarters call center, improving safety and store uptime.
The client director commented, “In my 30 plus years of purchasing and managing telephony projects, this was the single best deployment I’ve ever experienced.”
“We’re equally excited and humbled to receive this award from Channel Partners.” said Ed Degenhart, managing partner of Subsidium Technologies. “Our team and our vendors like CBTS are tirelessly dedicated to improving the bottom line and creating outstanding value for our customers, and this award is fantastic recognition of their efforts.”
