CBTS is delighted to reveal that AVANT Communications has earned the Top Technology Solutions Distributor (TSD) Partner of the Year for 2022. CBTS grants this title to a partner based on crucial business performance indicators and business results.
“I’m pleased to see that AVANT has earned the CBTS Top TSD title. We’re thrilled by the way that AVANT has found success with our newly released channel offerings,” said Rob Messmer, SVP and Channel Chief at CBTS. “Throughout our relationship, we’ve consistently seen AVANT embrace new technology through its commitment to strong sales engineering.”

Annually, CBTS honors one of its partners for the highest performance in client acquisition of strategic services, including Webex Calling, Microsoft Teams Voice, SD-WAN, Network as a Service (NaaS), and Network Security.
“Our partnership with CBTS has enabled unprecedented growth,” said Shane McNamara EVP of Operations at AVANT. “From cloud to security to Microsoft Teams Voice implementations, CBTS supports our mission to connect our clients to the bleeding edge of technology. As a company dedicated to hyper-accelerating technological growth for our clients, we are excited to witness the many ways that our partnership with CBTS will continue to blossom and grow.”
In 2021, AVANT became the first CBTS Channel Partner to achieve certification in all four certificate domains: UcaaS, SD-WAN, NaaS, and Network Security. The Certified Channel Partner Program gives participants access to cutting-edge tools, provides encompassing training, and administers rigorous testing to ensure knowledge retention.
AVANT awarded CBTS channel engineer Matt Douglass the title of Top Sales Engineer for the second time in 2021. So far, Douglass is the only engineer to earn that designation.
“It’s so great to watch CBTS and AVANT thrive together through an ecosystem of mutual success. However, the customers are the real winners, as they get access to best-in-class solutions and seamless implementations that our partnership allows,” said Douglass.
